On Friday The Federal Communications Commission approved tThe 2018 Reimbursement Expansion Act - authorizing the reimbursement of low-power television, TV translator and FM broadcast stations for costs incurred as a result of the broadcast television spectrum incentive auction repack. [read more]
 
KELB-FM owner Barry McCall died last week after falling from the station tower he was working on. McCall was 62. KELB is located in Lake Charles, LA. [read more]
 
The station reported that Dave Sandler, who delivered traffic reports for more than 30 years on WBAL Radio and 98 Rock has died after a long illness. He was 58. [read more]
