In a case of bad timing Guam radio stations KTWG and KSTO conducted an unscheduled test of their Emergency Alert System early Monday morning. The Guam office of Homeland Security posted to their Facebook page that the stations had made a mistake.[read more]

Culminating a multi-decade career covering the complex topic of health care, Carol Gentry is retiring from WUSF Public Media’s Health News Florida. Gentry single-handedly created Health News Florida in 2006 as an independent non-profit health journalism publication, and in 2012, Gentry joined the WUSF Tampa family when she brought Health News Florida into the fold of WUSF Public Media.[read more]
