Wendy’s Shows Radio A Lot Of Love The burger chain moved from 53rd to second on the Media Monitors weekly chart. Wendy's aired 32,833 commercials on radio stations all across the country last week. Only GEICO aired more (49,240). Indeed held onto the third spot (32,531), followed by The Home Depot (32,180), and the United States Department of Transportation (30,435).[read more]
NextRadio Now Available In Colombia Colombia joins Mexico and Peru as Latin American countries where consumers can tune to their favorite local FM radio stations using the NextRadio app. Later this year, additional expansion is planned to cover more Latin American countries by offering NextRadio within the Google Play Store in Brazil and Argentina.[read more]
Mississippi FM Sells For $600K 6,000-watt WHJT, owned by Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi, is being sold to New South Radio for $600,000 cash at closing. The college was represented by brokers Greg Guy and Jason James of Patrick Communications.[read more]
ESPN Promotes Justin Craig ESPN Radio New York 98.7FM PD Justin Craig has been named Senior Director, Programming and Operations for the national ESPN Radio network. Craig will be responsible for all aspects of ESPN Radio programming and production, including oversight of Mike & Mike, The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, Russillo & Kanell, and nighttime and weekend programming.[read more]
