In a 300-plus page document filed with the SEC regarding the pending merger with CBS Radio, Entercom states it has reached preliminary agreements with buyers who will purchase stations in four markets Entercom must move stations from in order to close the CBS Radio deal. [read more]
 
 
In a memo to CBS Radio employees, CEO Andre Fernandez unveiled the final 16 stations that will most likely be moved in order for the CBS/Entercom merger to go through. Eleven of those stations are under the CBS Radio umbrella and five now belong to Entercom. Here is the entire list... [read more]

CBS Radio revenue was $555.6 million in the first six months of 2017, according to the latest Entercom filing at the FCC. That's down from $577.1 million in 2016. Operating income over that six months was $90 million compared to $137.4 million in 2016. The document says CBS Radio has $1.36 billion in debt and $4.33 billion in total assets. [read more]

The National Association of Broadcasters announced Wednesday it will be sending 10,000 battery-operated radios to Puerto Rico for distribution to residents affected by Hurricane Maria. NAB, the National Alliance of State Broadcasters Associations, and multiple U.S. broadcasters are funding the initiative. [read more]

Salem Media Group has announced that morning co-host Brian Whitman has signed a contract extension to remain co-hosting the show in Los Angeles. Whitman first joined the company in April of 2012, after previous stints with KABC and KLSX in Los Angeles, and WABC in New York. [read more]

Jameson is currently VP of Classic Rock for Cumulus, and serves as Operations Manager/PD of Classic Rock station KQRS in Minneapolis, and Operations Manager of Active Rock station KXXR/93X and Classic Hip Hop trimulcast WGVX-WRXP-WWWM/105 The Vibe.
