Long-time WEEI Boston morning man Gerry Callahan is out after 20 years. After his show Friday, Callahan tweeted, "Thanks to all who listened. Unfortunately, this ain’t a movie. Sometimes the bad guys win. Much more to come." A few hours later Entercom announced the WEEI changes in a press release. [read more]
 
 
Tom Burkhardt was stuck in traffic on his way to the hospital in L.A. when he decided to call in to KROQ to try to win Smashing Pumpkins tickets on the Stryker and Klien show. Burkhardt was in fact having a heart attack. [read more]
