That's what Taylor Swift's legal team is claiming in the battle between the former KYGO DJ and the mega-star. People Magazine reports that Mueller recorded a meeting with KYGP management when the station was conducting its own investigation into the matter. And then, according to the magazine, Muller destroyed the recording on several devices he owned. [read more]

Radio stations all across the country are huge supporters of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and that organization sent this letter to FCC Chairman Ajit Pai to let him know how appreciative they are for all the work radio does. The letter states that radio stations all across the country generated more than $20 million over the past year to help fight childhood cancer. [read more]
 
Automotive sales continued to be weak as U.S. light-vehicle sales dropped 0.5 percent in May compared to a year ago for radio's number one advertising category. Ford, Nissan and Honda saw an increase for the month, while General Motors, Toyota, FCA and Hyundai-Kia fell. [read more]
 
The only day off-campus is Wednesday, June 7th, when the students tour the Carolina Panthers facility and learn from Play-by-Play Announcer Mick Mixon, then to Charlotte Motor Speedway with the Voice and President of Performance Racing Network, Doug Rice, doing a session for the students and taking them around the track at 100 mph. The voice of the Oakland Raiders, Greg Papa, has agreed to a multi-year extension at 95.7 The GAME (KGMZ-FM). Papa has been with the station since 2014, and The Greg Papa Show will continue to air weekdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Papa is a three-time California Sportscaster of the Year Award winner.
