Why Radio's Ink Radio Wayne Award Is So
Important To Your Radio Career

Like the Oscars for Radio:
Your Career Will Soar After You Win

Imagine yourself on stage, giving your acceptance speech after being recognized for your hard work and excellence.

You work long hours. You pace the floors at night looking for ideas on how to meet budgets, creative ways to crack the code with new clients, and how to be the best in radio. Sometimes all this work goes unnoticed.

Imagine how things would change if you were the winner of radio's top award, recognizing the best and brightest in the business. Imagine your name in the local paper after the press release goes out announcing you won the award. Imagine your competitors putting their heads in their hands when their advertisers say they want to deal with you, because you're the best in the industry.

It's a magical moment when you win the Radio Ink Radio Wayne Award. There is tension in the room ... then you hear your name. You leap to your feet in surprise as adrenaline rushes through your body. Your mind is racing: "What will I say? What if I trip on the way up? I can't wait to call my family, I can't wait to tell my colleagues, I can't wait to see the faces of my advertisers when they hear I've been named the very best in the radio industry for this year."

Suddenly you're on stage in front of all those people, getting the recognition you deserve. Even knowing your friends or management have nominated you proves they care about you and recognize your ability, but holding up your trophy as you give your acceptance speech is simply the best.

Your career will soar. When you are the very best, people know it, and they want to deal with the best.
